Job Description

Description We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper with expertise in QuickBooks Online to join our team on a contract basis. This position offers an opportunity to work with a respected non-profit organization in Sacramento, California, and contribute to its financial operations. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in full-charge bookkeeping and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities: - Manage the organization's complete bookkeeping process, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. - Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date. - Utilize QuickBooks Online to maintain the general ledger and track financial transactions. - Provide expertise as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor to optimize financial software usage. - Assist with system conversions and implementation of new financial processes as needed. - Prepare detailed financial reports and summaries for management review. - Maintain compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies. - Monitor and resolve discrepancies in accounts promptly. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of financial systems. Requirements - Proven experience in full-charge bookkeeping with a focus on accounts payable and receivable. - Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and certification as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor is highly preferred. - Strong understanding of general ledger management and financial reporting. - Familiarity with bank reconciliations and resolving account discrepancies. - Experience in system conversions and implementing financial software. - Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and efficiently in a contract role. - Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
