CDL Road Test Driver Responsibilities

Must be able to perform pre and post trip inspections
Be sure you understand specifically the work that was performed on each repair order and complete the road test and inspection in accordance with the write-up stated on the repair order.
Always check for additional repairs that should be performed while the truck is in the shop and advise your supervisor if you find anything additional
Make sure that we are leaving the customers vehicle clean
Use of proper safety procedures and devices is necessary

CDL Road Test Requirements

Good driving record.
Class A requires CDL
Must be able to use a computer or tablet to write notes, and follow written instructions
Mechanical background preferred
Good understanding of the operation of the vehicles we are road testing.
Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Good overall physical condition.
Good reading and writing skills. Basic math skills. (High school graduate or GED equivalent)·
Valid driver’s license.
Dependable, honest, and trustworthy.
Must be a team player and exhibit good positive attitude
