**Job Title: Construction General Laborer** **Job Description** Join our team as a Construction General Laborer, where you will work alongside duct or kitchen cleaning crews, assisting crew leaders with cleanup work. You will utilize various methods and equipment to perform these tasks, traveling to different commercial facilities, hospitals, and industrial buildings. The work primarily involves cleaning outside of vents, but you may occasionally need to crawl into tight spaces for thorough cleanups. You will begin your day at our Warren shop and travel to various job sites, with some overnight travel required, which is compensated. **Responsibilities** + Assist crew leaders in cleanup work using various methods and equipment. + Travel to different commercial facilities, hospitals, and industrial buildings to complete assigned tasks. + Perform cleaning outside of vents and occasionally crawl into tight spaces for comprehensive cleanups. + Meet daily at the Warren shop and travel to job sites. **Essential Skills** + At least 6 months of general labor experience. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Comfortable working on flat rooftops and in smaller spaces. + Flexible with shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, with possible weekly schedule changes). + Mechanically inclined with knowledge of basic hand tools. + Valid driver's license or state ID. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in air duct or kitchen exhaust fan cleaning. + Familiarity with using vacuums and power washers. + Leadership experience or ability to lead crews. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a unique opportunity for growth within the company, with employees who excel receiving more than the standard $1 annual raise. Be prepared for a dynamic work setting with varying conditions. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, MI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
