Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Document Control Specialist who will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining vital production and quality documents. This position involves ensuring accurate storage, organization, and quick retrieval of documents to support audits, investigations, and compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • File and maintain production and quality documents, ensuring accurate storage and organization.
  • Manage and maintain the document room to ensure quick access during audits or investigations.
  • Digitize paper records through scanning and upload them into the document management system.
  • Retrieve documentation as requested by internal teams or external partners.
  • Coordinate with a third-party storage provider to request or send overflow documents.
  • Uphold good documentation practices (GDP) and support compliance with quality standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with 1-3 years of experience.

  • Technically savvy and comfortable with scanning software and document systems.
  • Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP); quality assurance knowledge is a plus.
  • Previous experience in biotech or pharma preferred, but open to diverse backgrounds.

Work Environment

The position requires working 100% onsite from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. The specialist will be part of a quality team consisting of 7-10 people. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as the role involves interaction and driving communication across various groups.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Winslow, Maine.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
