Job Summary:

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing maintenance and repair activities for the buildings, grounds and utilities infrastructure. Including alarm systems and fire suppression systems. Taking part in the future building space and supply needs of the company. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for scheduling facility technicians, vendors and contractors for onsite maintenance and repair. Will keep a detailed maintenance log on all work completed. Will schedule training for facility technicians. 

Responsibilities:

• Assure Food Safety, SQF, GMPs and all other policies are followed.
• Schedule all infrastructure general maintenance, repair or upgrade.
• Work with outside contractors to provide direction and coordination for tasks and ensure the tasks are done correctly.
• Create requisitions for services, R&M and parts requisition.
• Provide direct assistance for repairs and other tasks as required.
• Manage facilities and janitorial personnel. For 3 shifts.
• Execute preventive maintenance program and maintain log of completed tasks.
• Manage material handling, trash, and recycling equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Execute special instructions or project assignments given by the Director of Engineering.
• Demonstrate flexibility with work schedule. Some nights and weekends.
• Work with landlord on leased properties
• Assist in managing sublet tenants and their needs.
• General maintenance for leased areas 

Education and Experience:

• Highschool diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5yrs. previous facilities experience a plus

Requirements:

• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, exhaust fans and general building maintenance.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic math concepts, familiarity with measuring instruments.
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
• Knowledge of Food Safety Regulations a plus.
• Good interpretive and/or reactive skills.
• Able to multi-task.
• Manufacturing environment experience a plus.
• Forklift and scissor lift experience required.
• Experience functioning as a proactive team player.
• Must possess strong planning skills.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver on schedule.
• Act independently in a constructive manner.
• To speak English and Spanish a plus. 

Location: Onsite-Lincon, CA

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm **Some Nights and Weekends***

Pay Range: $80,000-$95,000 annually
