Required Procedures:
- Upper GI endoscopy.
  - With biopsy.
  - With foreign body removal.
  - With fulguration of bleeder (cautery/laser).
  - With injection of varices.
  - ERCP (diagnostic & therapeutic).
  - With PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy).
  - Esophageal dilatation/manometry.
  - Esophageal manometry interpretation.
  - Small bowel biopsy.
- Lower GI endoscopy.
  - Sigmoidoscopy (flexible & rigid).
  - Colonoscopy: with biopsy, excision of polyp.
Beds in the Dept:
- Sylva: 86.
- Clyde: 154.
EMR: McKesson & Athena.
Other Info: We would like the physicians to cover both of our hospitals while on call.
Hospital Privileges required: Yes.
Temporary Privileges available: Yes.
Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered.

Active NC License.
BC/BE.
BLS.
Immunizations.
