Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated & experienced Certified Lactation Consultant for a part time position at CMC.

Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state’s newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County’s largest and most active health care facility—caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Lactation Consultant Certification
• Diploma/Degree
• NJ RN License & RN degree if RN
• Current Lactation Consultant experience
• BLS (American Heart Association)

Scheduling Requirements :

• Part Time Evening

Essential Functions:

• The Lactation Consultant supports our Staff, Mother’s and Infants with Breastfeeding and Education on our Mother Baby Unit and Special Care Nursery. May support Breastfeeding in other areas of the Hospital.
• Evening position to help support our Mom's in the Evenings and on the weekends
