Job Description

Starting Hourly: $21.00 per hour

Curently, we are looking for a part time Medical Receptionist for our Costa Mesa location. 

Schedule will be Monday - Thursday 12:15pm - 6:00pm & Friday Noon - 4:30pm  

* Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred but not required

ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES
  • Greets warmly and maintains a friendly, welcoming relationship with all patient care coordinators, and any external connections.
  • Clearly communicates with all staff, including clinical and corporate employees, in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Responsible for answering phones and greeting patients with the utmost professionalism and care in a timely manner and returning VMs same day received. Will  maintain higher than 85% answer call rate.
  • Participates in and adheres to, as required, the HIPAA Policies and Procedures of Therapy Partner Group
  • Escalates patient issues and concerns, as needed, to local Clinical leadership and Regional Front Office management.
  • Scheduling patient’s initial evaluations and follow up visits through plan of care  
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office; Raintree PMS experience is a +Plus
  • Possess strong relationship building and customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential documents
  • Ability to demonstrate active listening by asking clarifying questions, identify and share relevant information and solicit feedback from others and give and receives feedback objectively.
  • Possess strong team player attributes
  • Ability to multi-task responsibilities while maintaining a positive and friendly atmosphere with the patients near by
Education and Experience
Education :Â High School diploma or equivalent (Must be 18+)
Experience : Practice Management System knowledge, patient scheduling capabilities and insurance plan understanding.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Requires prolonged sitting, some walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, mouse, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and present reports.
