We are seeking a qualified Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to provide on-call cardiology consultation services to veterans at the Thomas E. Creek VA Medical Center in Amarillo, TX. The ideal candidate will deliver expert cardiac care to eligible VA beneficiaries and collaborate with the VA’s clinical teams in accordance with federal healthcare standards and VA protocols.
Provide on-call cardiology consultation services to VA patients as needed, in alignment with VA policies and patient care standards.
Deliver both urgent and routine cardiac care, including interventional procedures within your scope of practice.
Collaborate with in-house VA physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Complete required documentation and maintain records in accordance with VA policy and regulatory compliance.
Remain accessible and responsive while on-call, providing timely consults and guidance to VA staff.
Comply with all safety, privacy, and infection control procedures at the facility.
Medical License:
Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, or the District of Columbia.
Board Certification/Eligibility:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
