Quality Control Review Analyst – Post Close Underwriting

Reports To: QC Manager

About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Quality Control Review Analyst to perform secondary reviews of mortgage loan files after the Post Close Underwriting Review is complete. This role ensures underwriting decisions and QC findings meet investor, agency, and company standards before final disposition.

Responsibilities:

• Complete secondary QC reviews on post-close loan files.
• Verify accuracy of initial QC findings and confirm corrective actions.
• Identify any missed errors, trends, or compliance issues.
• Ensure alignment with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, and USDA guidelines.
• Clearly document findings and support internal audit and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with QC leadership to enhance review consistency and processes.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of recent mortgage underwriting, post-close, or QC experience required.
• 3-5 years of recent Non-QM exp required.
• Strong knowledge of agency/investor guidelines.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with LOS/QC systems (e.g., Encompass, ACES, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
