Receives food and supplies and verifies receipt delivered according to standard policy, procedures, and specifications,

Responsible for proper storage and rotation of all food and non-food products according to standard policy and procedures,

Responsible for the sanitation of all refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas on a daily basis according to department policies and procedures,

Responsible for the proper dating, labeling and storage of all fresh dairy and meat products,

Responsible for the rotating of all milk and juice deliveries on a daily basis, checking expiration dates to ensure freshness of stock,

Responsible for all storeroom, freezers and refrigerators meet all safety code violations,

Responsible for completion of special cleaning assignments given by purchasing coordinator before the end of shift,

Issues and delivers accurately proper supplies for departments throughout the hospital on a daily basis so that all deliveries are completed by the end of the shift,

Performs tasks as assigned in other areas of department according to standard policies and procedures of the department,

Employees carries out the principles of guest relations by maintaining good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with all guests, employees, supervisors, outside contacts, and patients,

Attends department meetings and in-services while on duty and keeps current with all department policies and procedures,

Education: High School Graduate or equivalent,

Experience: Prior Food Service experience,

On the job training provided,

Interrelationships: Food Service Managers/Associate Director, Food Service employees, delivery men and employees in other departments,

Physical Demands: Majority of day standing and walking, lifting and bending,

Environmental Concerns: Heat, cold, wet floors,
