Job Description & Skill Requirements:
Identify cost reduction opportunities in semiconductor capital equipment through analysis of costed BOMs and system design.
Prepare and present detailed cost-saving proposals to stakeholders and executive-level audiences.
Include in presentations:
Cost reduction idea details
Percentage savings in MCOS/TCOS
Should-cost analysis
Conduct initial validation of cost-saving possibilities with:
Strong technical justifications
Design reviews
Calculations
System-level impact analysis
Experience in supplier cost negotiations and implementing cost-reduction designs in high-volume production.
In-depth knowledge of:
Semiconductor equipment
Semiconductor fabrication processes
Semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem
Demonstrated leadership and influence skills to drive results.
Strong project management skills for executing cost-reduction initiatives with cross-functional teams:
Mechanical Engineering (ME)
Electrical Engineering (EE)
System Engineering
Product Marketing
Manufacturing
Supply Chain
Proficient in technical problem-solving and risk mitigation.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
