Job Title: Travel LPN / LVN – Long Term Care
Location: Montour Falls, NY
Duration: 13 weeks (extendable)
Shift: 5x8-hour night shifts
Pay Rate: $1,619 weekly gross
Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a travel assignment in a long-term care (LTC) facility. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment while maintaining a compassionate and professional approach.
Key Responsibilities:Provide daily nursing care to residents, including medication administration and treatments under physician orders.
Monitor and document residents’ conditions, reporting changes to supervising nurses or physicians.
Support residents with activities of daily living and ensure their safety and comfort.
Perform CNA-related duties when needed to support team operations.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Point Click Care (PCC) or similar EMR systems.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to promote optimal resident outcomes.
Work every other weekend and every other holiday as scheduled.
Minimum 2 years of recent LPN/LVN experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
Proficiency in Point Click Care (PCC) documentation system required.
Strong communication, observation, and time-management skills.
Active New York State LPN License – Required
AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
