Job Summary

Sea Fox Boat Company is an industry leading, saltwater fishing boat manufacturer who is looking for someone in the Finishing department. Finishers help prepare the boat for final delivery to the dealers.

To qualify for this job, the applicant must be able to perform the following:

• Previous Patching / Sanding in either Boat Manufacturing or Automotive
• Full Time work load Monday- Friday.

Essential Functions:

• Finishers must be able to use power tools, hand tools, buffers, sandpaper to smooth out fiberglass or gel coat imperfections.
• Must have an eye for detail – to ensure the highest standards
• There will be constant lifting and bending
• Understand all machinery and chemicals used
• Be aware of MSDS sheets and books and read and use this information when necessary
• Must be honest, dependable and forthright, with the ability to confidently work without direct supervision
• Maintain a positive attitude – always be willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed
• Must be able to work with diverse populations in a supportive and positive manner
• Know and comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, emergencies and energy

Status and Scope:

Must be comfortable working in a covered warehouse environment (extreme cold and heat)
Must be comfortable being on their feet all day
Must be comfortable using power tools and hand tools.

Minimum Requirements:

A High School Diploma or GED

**Must pass Patch/Refinish test
