Reliant Home Funding, Inc. is seeking a skilled FHA/VA Mortgage Underwriter to join our expanding team. This is a key role for an experienced professional passionate about helping borrowers achieve homeownership through government lending programs.
We are open to remote candidates for this position.What You’ll Do:
Underwrite FHA and VA loans according to HUD, VA, and investor guidelines
Review borrower documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
Communicate approvals, suspensions, and conditions clearly
Utilize AI-powered technology to improve speed and decision quality
Requirements:
3+ years of FHA/VA underwriting experience
DE certification required ; LAPP/SAR preferred
Thorough understanding of HUD and VA guidelines
Proficiency with DU/LP and Encompass
