Job Description

Location: Bedford Village Flower Shoppe 634 Old Post Rd. Bedford, N.Y. 10506

Schedule: Mondays, Fridays, and 2–3 Saturdays per month, 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM. Holiday availability required.

About Us:
We’re a thriving floral shop with a reputation for exceptional designs and outstanding customer service. Our design team includes two experienced designers and Lauren, the owner, who has hands-on experience in every aspect of the business. As our company continues to grow, we’re looking for a talented and reliable floral designer to grow with us.

What You’ll Do:

• Create stunning floral arrangements for daily orders, events, and weddings.
• Assist with wedding installations and on-site setups.
• Work collaboratively with our team to ensure every arrangement meets our high standards.
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Support the team during busy holiday seasons, including Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, the night before Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Prior floral design experience is a plus, but we’re open to training someone with the right attitude and enthusiasm.
• Reliability: Punctuality and dependability are a must.
• Team Player: A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work well with others.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work holidays and assist with additional hours as our business grows.

What We Offer:

• Competitive Pay:
  • $21/hour for experienced designers, with a bonus program that often adds an extra $3/hour.
  • $18/hour for those with minimal experience, with training to help you grow into the role.
• Weekly Tips: Additional tip payouts every week.
