YOUR FUTURE ROLE
The Cloud Solution Counseling Team within SAP’s Legal Department is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel with several years of IT and cloud software law experience, with an emphasis on advising product development and engineering teams on legal and regulatory topics. This role involves serving as the primary legal advisor and business partner to one or more SAP Cloud Solution Areas. You will provide proactive support in the areas of product development, commercialization, and regulatory compliance. When specialized topics arise (e.g., regulatory, data protection, or security), collaboration with other experts within SAP Legal will be particularly important. Prompt and consistent communication with clients and other stakeholders is also crucial to success. Routine tasks you can expect in connection with this role include, but are not limited to:

The Cloud Solution Counseling team advises on a broad range of topics related to the development, commercialization, and regulatory compliance of SAP’s cloud solutions. The team’s mission is to serve as a trusted partner to each SAP Cloud Solution Area by providing solution-oriented legal advice – also in relation to cross-solution topics - with a bias toward action, and helping SAP remain innovative while minimizing risk. The team helps SAP bring innovative, high quality, and legally compliant solutions to market, by offering practical, programmatic, and consistent legal guidance to help minimize legal risk. It also supports implementation of standards defined by SAP Legal as a whole.

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 129000 - 284400 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
