Cabinet Maker/Finisher

Position – Cabinet Maker/Finisher (Experienced)
Job Location – Cornell, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd Shift (Monday through Thursday 3pm to 1am)
Starting Pay – $23 and up per hour based on experience

Required Education – None
Required Experience – Prior woodworking, finishing, painting or cabinetry experience required.
As a Shop Hand / Cabinet Builder, you will be part of the production team building and finishing custom residential and commercial cabinetry. You’ll learn skills in sanding, assembly, finishing, and quality control while working in a safe, well-equipped shop.
Responsibilities
- Sand, prep, and assemble cabinet components
- Assist in finishing room with staining, varnishing, and detail work
- Perform final assembly and quality checks
- Load/unload trailers using lift-assist tables and carts (no off-property driving)
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment
Qualifications
- Ability to stand 8–10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs. (with assist equipment)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Team-oriented with reliable attendance and punctuality
- Candidates with experience in painting (interior or exterior), wood finishing, or working in a paint/finishing shop.
- Someone with strong sanding skills and an eye for precision and detail.
- Able to contribute with minimal training and work independently once oriented.
