Our client, a leading distribution center specializing in logistics and material handling, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting order fulfillment and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Turret Forklift Operator **Location: Covington, GA** **Pay Range:** $19 per hour **Shift:** 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Monday to Thursday **What's the Job?** + Safely operate material handling equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, or turret trucks (Crown lifts) to load and unload products + Process customer orders by scanning barcodes, picking, labeling, and packing items accurately + Build pallets, re-palletize products for shipment, and manage shipment documentation + Assist with inbound and outbound shipments using warehouse management systems (WMS) + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following SOPs and safety guidelines **What's Needed?** + High School diploma, GED, or relevant experience preferred + Experience operating MHE such as order pickers, reach trucks, or counterbalance forklifts + Ability to obtain forklift certification as per company guidelines + Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment + Ability to read and interpret distribution documents and perform basic calculations **What's in it for me?** + Competitive pay rate of $19 per hour + Opportunity to work in a dynamic warehouse environment + Potential for skill development and cross-training in various warehouse roles + Supportive team environment focused on safety and quality + Consistent night shift schedule with predictable hours **Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:** + Medical and Prescription Drug Plans + Dental Plan + Supplemental Life Insurance + Short Term Disability Insurance + 401(k) If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
